Welcome to JF Studio. By accessing or using our website (thejfstudio.com) and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JF Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Services Provided

JF Studio provides professional massage therapy services, including but not limited to:

• Swedish Massage
• Deep Tissue Massage
• Sports Massage
• Integrative Massage

All services are provided by appointment only at our location in Orland Park, Illinois. Services are subject to availability and therapist discretion.

3. Appointment Booking and Cancellation

3.1 Booking

Appointments can be booked through our website using the Cal.com booking system. By booking an appointment, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including contact details and relevant health information.

3.2 Cancellation Policy

We require at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the service price. No-shows will be charged the full service price.

3.3 Late Arrivals

If you arrive late for your appointment, your session may be shortened to accommodate other scheduled clients, and you will be charged the full price of your originally scheduled service.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept various forms of payment as processed through our booking system. All prices are subject to change without notice, though any changes will not affect appointments already booked.

By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees for services rendered, including any cancellation fees if applicable.

5. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete health information, including any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or medications
• Inform us immediately of any discomfort during treatment
• Arrive on time for scheduled appointments
• Notify us of any changes to your health status between appointments
• Follow any post-treatment recommendations provided by your therapist
• Treat our staff and facility with respect
• Comply with all posted rules and guidelines at our facility
• Maintain appropriate hygiene standards

6. Health and Safety

6.1 Medical Disclaimer

Massage therapy is intended for wellness, relaxation, and therapeutic purposes. It is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a medical condition, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before receiving massage therapy.

6.2 Contraindications

Certain health conditions may make massage therapy inadvisable. You must inform us of any conditions including, but not limited to:

• Recent surgery or injuries
• Blood clots or cardiovascular conditions
• Cancer or ongoing cancer treatment
• Pregnancy
• Infectious diseases or fever
• Skin conditions or open wounds
• Recent fractures or severe osteoporosis

6.3 Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service or discontinue treatment at any time if we believe it may be harmful to your health or safety, or if you behave inappropriately or disrespectfully toward our staff.

7. Professional Boundaries

JF Studio is committed to maintaining professional therapeutic relationships. Massage therapy is provided in a professional, non-sexual manner. Any inappropriate behavior, comments, or requests of a sexual nature will result in immediate termination of the session without refund, and you may be banned from future services.

Draping will be used during all sessions to ensure your comfort and privacy while allowing access to the areas being treated.

8. Assumption of Risk

While massage therapy is generally safe, you acknowledge and assume the risks associated with massage therapy, including but not limited to:

• Temporary soreness or discomfort
• Bruising
• Allergic reactions to oils or lotions
• Aggravation of pre-existing conditions

You agree that you have disclosed all relevant health information and that you are voluntarily participating in massage therapy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JF Studio, its owner, and therapists shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use our services
• Any injury or damage resulting from massage therapy
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
• Any content obtained from the service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JF Studio, its owner, therapists, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of JF Studio or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise use our content without our express written permission.

12. Communications and Notifications

By booking an appointment and providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from us, including:

• Appointment confirmations and reminders via email and SMS
• Important updates about our services
• Responses to your inquiries
• Marketing and promotional materials (which you can opt out of at any time)

Standard message and data rates may apply for SMS communications. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP" or contacting us directly.

13. Privacy

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Cook County, Illinois. You waive any right to a jury trial.

However, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent the infringement of intellectual property rights or confidential information.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
